What gets deleted
Deleting your account removes, immediately and permanently:
- your email address and password;
- your subscription link, if you have one;
- any outstanding password-reset codes.
Records of when scans happened are kept for accounting and to protect the service from abuse, but they are stripped of the document type and are no longer linked to you or to any email address. A one-way fingerprint of your email address is also kept with the number of free scans used this month, so that deleting an account doesn't reset the monthly free allowance — it cannot be turned back into your address. We never held your photographs or their text in the first place — see the privacy policy.
Cancel your subscription first if you have one. Deleting the account here does not cancel billing — use the link in your Paddle receipt email. Deletion cannot be undone.
